Christmas Gifts at The Armory

Like most offices, gift giving can be a tough endeavor. Especially when you consider keeping things cost appropriate.

So…this year when asked, I put the bug out that I wanted a Frank Proctor Sling with nylon loop attachments. Under $30.

So maybe next year you shouldn’t work-shy and ask for gun-part accoutrements like mag bases, slings, etc.

So…what did you get for Christmas? Post in the comments below. Even if you had to buy it yourself!

Merry Christmas!

Rifle 1: SIG 551a1
Rifle 2: Robinson Arms M96

  • So…how was your Christmas? Get anything of note? Even if you had to buy it yourself?

Wifey gave me a real nice Heritage “Rough Rider” revolver with 22 Mag & 22 LR 6 round cylinders. Sweet weapon for all the different barn critters.

      • Ooohhhh…I like that. The cylinder conversion is very cool.

        • Pic?

Unfortunately as an old Force Recon Marine, I don’t know how to do that. I really wish I knew how to do that !

          • No worries.

    • That’s cool.

Thanks…I don’t know how she does it…she ALWAYS gets GREAT gifts…

    • Mikial

Very cool. She obviously knows and loves you for who you are.

We tend to kind of buy what we want around Christmas, especially lots of trips to our favorite seafood place, but my wife got me some cool stuff. 1000 rounds of 9mm, 500 rounds of .45, a great book, and a very cool dog tag.

    • Ha! That dog tag is awesome.

      • Mikial

Yeah, especially when you consider that young wife is 30 years younger than I am. 😉

        • As you type this wearing a red smoking jacket and pajama pants.

          • Mikial

🙂 Actually jeans and a sweatshirt, but I like the image you suggest. She’s in sweat pants and a tank top and we’re drinking rum. Ahhhh . . . life is good.

Was a bit nipply that day was it?

    • We keep the armory cool with low humidity.
