Cracks in Mauser Stock

A while back Marky picked up a Yugo Mauser at an estate auction. Any new firearm that comes into the armory get’s completely taken down to check for damage, repairs, or unexpected markings.

You can see complete pics of the rifle here: Yugo K98 Mauser

I took these photos a while back and forgot to publish them. When looking for cracks in surplus rifles, they tend to show up in two spots: Where the action connects in the wood and where the stock is thinned out.

Here we see both.

All cracks have been addressed with epoxy and are now stable.
