I’ve had some inquiries about this so here the photos. Let me state that modifying a holster voids any warranty and opens the user up to suffering a holster failure. Up to and including a catastrophic discharge of your handgun.
I am not qualified to instruct you how to do this. And do not use this post as some-kind of guide or instruction. This is merely documenting what I did. For good or ill.
Don’t do it.
- Blue Gun to determine cut points.
- Blue gun vs real gun with SRO.
- Figuring out RDS clearance.
- Back side clearance.
- Added washers to widen holster.
- Relief cut for EDC slide-stop.
- Cut to clear Trijicon SRO.
- Try not to have Kydex hit SRO.
There are still problems with this solution and you won’t be 100% happy with the result. Additionally I have had no contact with Keeper’s Concealment about this move. But I am HIGHLY confident if they see the photos, they won’t be in the least bit happy and will find all kinds of things “wrong” with my solution.
C’est la vie.
