I’ll see your 20 years and raise you 20!-yea, been wearing GMT Master (version 1) daily 24/7 for 40 years except for occasional servicing. Looks like you still have the original band. Never carried the same gun or briefcase 20 years though.

    • Very cool!

Yes. It’s original. I don’t have the box or papers since I actually discarded them.

Did your bezel or anything fade with exposure to the elements? I would love to see a photo.

Yea, my mother(RIP) actually used the box to store silver coins over the years…so i still got the box-papers etc-no way.
I’m on bezel number three and yea they faded until i had to replace out of respect for myself as a responsible Rolex owner..lol
I will have some pictures to post in the next few days of my faded bezel which I still have and my GMT as it is now.

        • I guess I could keep the original bezel? Didn’t think about that.

here’s my new(3rd) and old(2nd) bezel. My original bezel was the “Pepsi” being blue and red instead of just black. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/52990357ac77dcb08a49939a0e470721a827760a51c45ec804f3ab42786f7c65.png
