A few days ago, a reader asked if I would post images of the Vang Comp porting done to our Mossberg 590. So here you go!
I don’t really know if the porting makes any difference to the shot pattern. Tight patterns are traditionally achieved by back-boring the shotgun. But when I sent the gun off to Vang for the upgrade, I elected to have the “whole package” done instead of a-la-cart.
