On this episode of the Second Hand Showcase, I have found what I think might be a good project gun. An old Winchester Model 12 hunting shotgun. Perhaps this might make a good project gun if we can get it for a good price? Specifically converting it to a riot-gun configuration. Translation: cut it to 18-20 inches.
Here are the specs”
- 12 Gauge.
- 30” Barrel.
- Full Choke.
- Take-down feature.
- Aftermarket recoil pad.
- Good condition wood. Perhaps refinished stock.
- Action un-locks like a Mossberg 500.
- Bead front sight.
- Original blue finished.
