Armory Chat 36: Custom Martini-Henry in 45-70

This rifle was made in 1887 and was originally chambered in 577-450 in use by the British Army. Sometime in the future (we suspect the 1950’s) this was converted to 45-70 GOVERNMENT. Enfield Clips & Their Markings

So Freeze was rummaging around his garage this week and found some old Enfield stripper clips. They seem pretty toasty but should function fine. Too bad they won’t work in an Ishapore 2A1 308 Enfield.   Anyway, there are two sets of separate markings one is “IV” the other is “K-B”. I assume those are maker’s marks? Anyone care to …
