I don’t know if I told you, but we did purchase a brand new 7.62 NATO MG 42 barrel.
I don’t know how easy it is to convert these things? But I’m under the impression it’s not hard.

Yes you had mentioned the barrel which I’m pumped about!
The kit looks good besides the barrel which isn’t a problem in our case.
New sheet metal sides can be purchased to make a new receiver. Last time I checked the sides were around $400.
Converting is not bad so you’re good there. Hell! There are step by step instructions online that cover everything. I’m pretty sure there is even a setup that uses AR15 trigger groups.
I’ll look into the receiver options or sides over the next couple of days
