I found a stash of 30-06 blank ammo. I don’t really recall where I picked it up at; or why, but I found these to be interesting.

They are head stamped, “DA 65”. DA is Dominion Arsenal- Quebec Canada. And they are not the normal 6 star crimp that you see on blanks. Originally they had a red cardboard plug. But on these examples, the plug is gone and the powder has been removed. I speculate they were blanks used for funeral services opposed to grenade launching blanks.
