Shooting, "Not a Red 9"

Somewhat of a tongue-in-cheek title. Freeze and I get the Red 9 out. This was the first time loading it with stripper clips on the range. Previously it was being hand loaded 2-3 rounds per iteration.

What I like about the gun is it’s iconic look. No other gun looks quite like a Broom-Handle Mauser. In the early days of handgun development, everybody was kind of working from a blank sheet of paper. So the designs tend take a kind of alien turn aesthetically.

OH…BTW…it’s kind of a crappy gun. But if you buy a C96 / Broom-Handle Mauser / Red 9, you aren’t really looking for your next CCW gat anyway, right?
