Follow up on a video we did a few weeks ago. Putting together a correct 1891 Carcano rifle, so a bayonet was in order.
However…the cross piece / barrel hole was bent and out of round. While disappointing always a possibility when ordering something online.
The solution: about 15 minutes with some gentle mandrel work and the bayonet is now serviceable. If not perfect.
