1911 Drill – 5 Shot Pace Drill
Picked this drill up from Mike Seeklander probably 2 years ago. It’s still something I need to work on. But basically the shooter is trying to master 3 things:
- Maintaining consistent grip for 5 shots.
- While having the sights drop back to the same point on target.
- While also hitting the target for each shot.
- Personal issue: Don’t outrun / short the super nice trigger on this Wilson eXperior 1911. It breaks much lighter than the EDC X9L duty trigger I run. So occasionally I flub it. User error. It happens. I left it in.
If you are interested in looking Mike up, check him out at https://www.shooting-performance.com
Sincerely,
Marky
