2000 Miles On The Grenadier
So just rolled 2000 miles on the Grenadier. Truck seems fine and I am getting used to it. I have been back and forth on the oil change schedule. INEOS says 12,000 miles with their full synth with no break-in change needed.
I am going to take it in for a break-in oil change and get it analyzed. Should be fine obviously.
Kraken, who used to work in the engine oil business, says the 12,000 miles OC schedule should be zero issues with plenty of life left in the oil. He makes a very convincing argument when discussed.
My default is 5000, but I drive so much it would be great to have a 10 or 12,000 mile interval. I typically do about 5000 miles in about 7 weeks.
