Here it is, Folks. I have seen FCS come onto the scene as an obvious sign of custom-shop work, and I have seen the 1911, gun forum, illuminati move away from them ever since.
So…in my opinion…if you are looking at a full custom 1911 and want to know if front cocking serrations should be an option checked on your build sheet? Here are 5 reason why every, modern, serious, working 1911 should absolutely have FCS’.
The TLDR: 1911 shooters get them. “1911 guys” who don’t actually shoot that much don’t. If that statement pisses you off, all that means is we both know you aren’t a shooter.
