I love cutaways. I really, really do. But the truth is I only have so much wall space so selecting some cutaways to buy requires some planning. Up till now, I had never seen a M1 Garand cutaway.
Very, very cool. I also appreciate how it’s displayed. Not only does it reside in a well made case, but it’s also at eye-level. That so the biggest mistake I see with cutaway displays. They tend to be stuck 9-15 feet in the air near a ceiling.
Don’t they know the real payoff on cutaways is giving the viewer a chance to look closely at the internals? I’m glad to see in this case, the owner does.
