One of the old man’s EDC guns is a Keltec 380. He pretty much carries it everyday all day long. Twice a year he shoots off the mag in the gun and reloads fresh ammo. He has been working his way thru a box of Aguila factory hollow points.
The other day he goes to it and one the first shot. A small snap….slight puff of smoke. Shell never ejected and the slide didn’t move. Slide was racked and she’ll ejected and inspection showed bullet lodged in the barrel. Barrel was cleared and the rest of the mag fired flawlessly as well as a second mag.
Just goes to show, factory ammo can have issues as well.
