Pulled two reference guns out of the library to shoot them at the range. But being more of a performance focused shooter, I decided the sight package on both pistols needed to be dressed up a bit.
I black out the rears with marker. And I brightened up the fronts with a paint pen. After first cleaning them with rubbing alcohol.
Usually I use the hooker-orange fingernail polish shown in one of the photos. But alas…it seems the bottle has finally given up the ghost. Don’t know if it just aged out after many years? Or if the last user didn’t close the bottle completely?
No matter. We have paint pens these days and this will probably hold up better anyway.
Guns pulled:
- Bernardelli P.One in 9×19.
- Walther P-38 / P1 in 9×19.
Sincerely,
Marky
