With the ever decreasing supply of Blaser Tactical 2 magazines, I get asked variations of the same question: Can I use X mag to load and feed Y caliber?
Generally I would say no. Theoretically one could surmise running 300WM out of a 338LM magazine. But I fear it wouldn’t be reliable enough to warrant the effort. Thus your next recourse would be modifying the feed lips.
Once you’re that deep in the hole, I would just stop. Sooner or later mags pop up on the secondary market. Just wait.
