The standard spring that comes in this gun is 14lbs. Users can choose to put a 13, 14 or 15lb spring in these guns.
Additionally, users can choose a traditional round-wire spring for a modern flat-wire spring. Wilson pioneered the flat-wire spring for 1911 use some years ago.
So here is the service / change schedule:
Round-wire spring service life is 20,000 rounds.
Flat-wire spring service life is 40,000 rounds.
Wow!
For an old guy like me, this sounds like something out of a Buck Rogers movie! What’s next, Mr. Wilson? Flying cars? Cats & dogs living together? A phase-plasma-CQB pistol in the 40 watt range?
Sincerely,
Marky
