Putting a hydraulic top link on the Massey has been on my to do list for well over a year. Purchased this thing BEFORE the range barn was built even.
Installation was pretty easy. Knock out the pins holding the factory link on. Break off the o-ring seals on the hydraulic unit, then install. If I can do it, anyone can do it.

So what’s the advantage of an hydraulically operated link you ask? Principally quick adjustment to hook different attachments on to the 3-point. Read that as not having to screw in or out the top link for different attachments.

Additionally the hydraulic link allows the operator to quickly change the pitch of certain attachments for different cutting angles or pressures. Principally anything with a “blade” on it.

So if you are on the fence about getting one, and you switch rear attachments all the time, the hydraulic top link is a game changer.
Sincerely,
Marky
