As you have noticed, we have been unusually quiet. That is due to the final push to get the John1911 range operational. Right now that involves cutting just about the entire rifle range.
Well that entails taking the bucket off the front of the Massey Tractor and putting the Lane Shark on. And while doing that, to my horror, the joints behind the SSQD plate were filled…FILLED…with gravel. Mostly 2” gravel we used for drainage.
Guess that is what 300 tons of gravel work gets ya!
After clearing it out, and hoping we didn’t tear anything up, back to the range cutting we go.
