POTD – Colt Python Estate Pickup
Referenced this on the podcast. On our long term to buy list was one of the reproduction Colt Pythons. And the logic is simple. For years I have searched for a shooter-grade Python to purchase.
The problem with that is even ragged out originals have gone into the stratosphere. Paying those numbers for a shooter didn’t make any sense. Still doesn’t.
But now Colt has released a new generation of Pythons. From what people in the know seem to say, these are every bit as good as the originals function wise. Probably have better DA triggers. And will probably stay in time longer.
So when a used one (estate) popped up at Shooter’s Supply in Loveland, Ohio. I knew our search was over.
