So after some years of talking, we picked up a White Steyr AUG for the reference collection. For those wondering, this is the “Steyr Mag Format” of rifle instead of the STANAG variant.
Why? It’s not a working gun. It’s a reference gun that will get shot for experience and comparisons. So we wanted it in the “original Latin” as they say.
Now…not to discount the NATO / STANAG version. If this was a working gun, on a team, or simply my gun of choice, it would make a lot of sense to go STANAG. Why? There is a good chance I could be sharing mags with others.
In this use case however, pig-latin is fine.
