Red Glocks – The Value of Classroom Demonstrators
This video is going to cause quite a bit of heartburn in the comments section because everyone is going to virtue signal on how this would never happen to them because of X, Y, Z or 1,2,3 procedures and practices.
And that’s great! But that is NOT what this video is about.
This video is about why do some manufactures make inert training guns? In this case the red Glocks. And why they don’t like to sell them to the general public.
Try to look at this from the manufacture’s perspective. They can’t control the retards. Yes, really! I said it and it needs to be said. Retards pop up everywhere.
- Sometimes the retard is the instructor.
- Something the retard is the student.
- Sometimes the retard is a young child.
- Sometimes the retard is a moment of confusion or hubris.
- And sometimes, the retard is a guy who wants to convert an inert, red trainer into a firing pistol because, “the red looks cool, Man!”.
By not selling these devices to the general public, Glock can mitigate vulnerability to 4 out of the 5 of possible retard vectors.
It’s as simple as that. Individuals are smart. People are stupid. At least until they grow up and get some hard earned wisdom under their belts.
Sincerely,
Marky
