Here is Doc’s load data for the 155g TMKs. The groups are 10 rounds each. 100 yards.
- CCI primers.
- Federal brass.
- 155g TMK bullet.
- Powder is IMR 4064.
- Group 1 is 44 grains.
- Group 2 is 45 grains.
For those new, Doc is having issues getting his SCAR-20 to stabilize the heavier bullets since the barrel twist is 1:12”.
WARNING: I do not personally reload and have no idea at what I am looking at. If you are looking to use Doc’s load data, start light and work your way up to his grain-age. Watch for pressure signs in YOUR gun and adjust accordingly. It’s big boy rules. And if you don’t understand or refuse to accept that statement? This post is NOT for you. Period. Mistakes in hand-loading can lead to serious injury or death and we are NOT responsible.
