One of the weaknesses of the SecureIt weapon rack system has been it’s general focus on military grade weapons. Which is to be expected since the bulk of their business if with government / MIL agencies.
And this is not a criticism. That very same focus is what drove SecureIt to lean in on high density weapon storage as opposed to “display” focused storage. In short most wall / rack systems not made by SecureIt are simply wasting too much space for professional grade arms rooms.
So imagine my surprise to see this new rimfire focused, high-density, pistol rack system! They even use a brass rod because, I imagine, SecureIT couldn’t figure out how to make a rimfire sized system that protected your barrel otherwise.
And here’s the kicker: they include their traditional rubber sleeve to convert the rimfire rod to centerfire should the need arise. Kinda neat and super practical. [Editor’s note: please recognize the phrasing difficulties these last two paragraphs present syntax wise.]
It’s nice to see SecureIt spend some time on obvious civilian focused accessories because I am 100% sure the Second Marine Division isn’t asking for a solution to rack 800 rimfire pistols.
