On this episode of the Second Hand Showcase, we are looking at a WWII Enfield pattern rifle that was factory refurbished in 1949. I am not normally a big fan of Enfield rifles. I mean, they are fine. Actually great. But to my thinking, any single one is just like the next one.
Unless…you find an Enfield that looks like it’s almost factory new! Hence why we are here.
The specs:
- Make: Enfield – Long Branch
- Model: No4 Mk1.
- Nation of Mfg: Canada
- Action: Bolt action.
- Caliber: 303.
- Buttplate: Brass.
- Sling: Yes, reproduction.
- Date of manufacture: 1943.
- Factory refurb: yes.
- Date of Refurb: 1949
