SIG 551-A1 First Shots

Decided to finally pull the SIG 551-A1 out of The Armory reference collection and actually shoot the darn thing. 

First Impressions:

  • Seems like a cool gun. 
  • Actually runs. 
  • I like the folding stock. 
  • I hate the drum sight. 
  • Trigger sucks rocks. 
  • For-end furniture does wobble. 
  • It will get “heavy” when accessorized. 
  • More to come on this. It’s now “a project”.
