Facebook Marketplace is something I find pretty handy. This is because every time I get an idea or inspiration to try something new, a quick search on Facebook is all I need to see if it’s possible.
This happened recently with stainless burn barrels. For some reason, Youtube targeted me for some videos on burn barrels and I saw a dude making the argument for a stainless one: Thicker metal, better construction, and obviously…stainless for much longer life.
Since we tossed two rotted out burn barrels with this last round of construction and dumpster rental, this seemed like a neat idea. Which became even more neat when I discovered a seller local to us has a whole warehouse full of stainless barrels.
I have included pics of all the labels and embossed markings so perhaps one of you can decipher what it all means. As long as the barrel doesn’t say nuclear waste or have a ball cancer code on it, I guess we are good to go.
Up next will be the need to ventilate the barrels for better and proper airflow. Now if only I had a way to do that…wink.
