This is a tongue-n-cheek joke, but…
Obviously a lot went wrong with President Trump’s security detail. Everyone is still sorting through the facts of what, when, where and why.
Failures, incompetence, and even possibly intentional malfeasance will be revealed. The final analysis will likely be extremely damning for multiple people & institutions.
We all can see it coming down the track like a freight train.
But what’s different in 2024 is terminally online folks scramble to be first with news, first with the facts, first with the revelations, and first with the witty comment. Irrespective of if said comment or guess is proven or even plausible.
“The System” today rewards the 1 dart that hits the X and memory-holes the other 99 attempts that didn’t even land on the board as if they never happened. Scatter gun is not analysis, it’s trying to manipulate an algorithm. An algorithm written by people who PROBABLY don’t even like you.
Here is an example from the other side: There are millions of leftist & democrats who, honestly in their heart of hearts, believe that someone skimmed a bullet off Donald Trump’s skull as some kind of false flag by Republicans to win the 2024 election.
They justify this in their minds since one, they WANT to believe it because it appeals to their priors. And two, being ill informed about how firearms work, default to Hollywood movies and CGI for technical analysis.
In no way am I discrediting everything that is out there. All I am saying is be critical of all sources on the left & the right. Yes, the government and media lie. But if you stay objective, those lies will reveal themselves on their own. They alway do.
