While confirming some dope on the way back down from 1000 yards, I had something happen that has never happened before. A 200 pound male Black Bear (Spotter said it was a bull. I have no idea) walked right into my field of view and in front of my 600 yard steel target.
Truthfully, for about a millisecond I about called out, “dog” to my spotter when suddenly my mind realized, “Bear!”.
