The Red Glocks are what we call classroom demonstrators. These are legally considered firearms by the BATFE even though they come from the factory without being able to fire live ammo.
These exist to give instructors the means to manipulate, demonstrate, and evaluate a student’s ability to understand the gun’s basic mechanics and manual of arms. While also providing a level of safety should someone insert a live round into what is supposed to be a dry classroom setting.
The bright color and large holes gives the instructors visual confirmation that someone hasn’t swapped or modified a dry trainer to be able to fire live ammo.
Sincerely,
Marky
