For those wondering, I am shooting PMC Bronze, 124g factory ball ammo. They say it clocks at 1100fps.
Obviously some duty / self-defense ammo will be made to keep flash to a minimum. Might be something to explore if you are planning on carrying The Project 1 on the street.
If you are worried about the flash bothering you, it’s generally not that big of a deal. It lasts about the same length as a blink of your eye. That would be…roughly…1/3 of a second. If you shot ported guns regularly, it’s generally a non-issue since you are expecting it.
