Picked this up at a gun show today, thought it was too odd to pass up. Figured you guys might think it’s neat so I’ll share. 

45 Win Mag Enfield

This is a British Enfield No 4 Mark 1* that someone converted to 45 Win Mag. They used an M1 Carbine magazine welded into the original mag. Waiting on brass to arrive so I can load/shoot it, hopefully it’s a winner.

Here’s a mix of different pics, let me know if you’d prefer anything different. Glad you thought it was as cool as I did! Think it might be out after some deer this year.

There’s a closeup of the action/magazine. It’s not the prettiest, but it seems very well done. Hopefully it feeds well as is.

It’s also got a flip up rear sight that’s adjustable for yardage. When flipped down it has the standard ring.

Not sure when this was converted, but I’m sure it was many years ago.
