Took this pic at Cody Firearms Museum. A Webley MK IV semi-auto in .455 Webley. Honestly, this has never been a gun I have had any interest in. Mostly because it is relatively unknown on the streets of the United States.
What I mean is we are unlikely to ever see one, have a need for one, have someone show up at the range with one, or get a request for familiarization of one.
Disclaimer: Right now someone might be about to suggest this model of Webley is uber rare for X,Y or Z reasons. And I will have to take their word for it. For me, they are all very similar.
I know enough to know what a Webley semi-auto is to see one. And I know enough to know if it’s for sale at a super cheap price. But unless those two points intersect on the “odds of buying” chart, we’ll never have one.
Do you have a Webley semi-auto? What do you think about it? Is it great? Or is it a turkey? As they say on the college campuses, “Change my mind”.
Sincerely,
Marky
