These have always been goofy. Something that appeals to children or folks who’s view of “combat” is distorted by fetish and fantasy.
Typically two traits immature personality types will gravitate towards to make up for a lack of training or experience.
But just like the special needs guy at the airport who was getting through TSA with his belt buckle knife (CLICK HERE); Belt buckle guns are a thing. And something that anyone looking for surreptitious weapons needs to be educated on.
So imagine my pleasure when I discovered that The Cody Firearms Museum had put together a tidy little display illustrating the concept.
It’s been a long time since I worked a checkpoint looking for weapons (or running through them armed, myself). But I probably spent an inordinate amount of time looking at these.
Sincerely,
Marky
