ADCOR Defense’s new release for 2016 is the Super-16 A-556 Elite. It has a 14.5″ barrel, but they’ve partnered with SilencerCo Suppressors and are offering a choice of SilencerCo muzzle devices pinned so the barrels are 16.2” and not considered an SBR. Next, ADCOR added a new 13” extended Key-Mod three-piece hand guard. The rifle comes in standard anodized black, but they’re offering custom Cerakote colors such as Flat Dark Earth and others.
Some of the ADCOR features that you generally won’t find on any other tactical sporting rifle include a forward placed, reversible/ambidextrous charging handle, and gas piston system with multi-position regulator so the gun runs clean and you can tune it to specific loads or accessories.
