Blaser brand binoculars.

Some have asked me about Blaser optics. Or if I will be trying Blaser optics? In short: No.

IMO they are way too heavy. And too expensive for being that heavy. Until the weight comes down, I ignore them.

As a businessman, I respect their desire to put the brand on the top of the rifle. Why cede those dollars to someone else?

But unless you are a psycho Blaser collector, the appeal sits at zero. If I wanted expensive glass, better companies with known track records to go with. If the argument is the added weight makes the glass rugged? There are better military glass companies to go with at that price.

Blaser binoculars typically are well north of $2000. Usually around $2500. Not worth it, IMO.

The typical Blaser “sporting” customer is considering Zeiss or Swarovski scopes. And willing to pay those prices. Until Blaser glass can compete 1-for-1 with these two bands, it’s a dead line.

Asked and answered.
