Per Kraken’s advice, I picked up some Safariland Comp II Speedloaders for the Colt Python. After reading the instructions, and some fiddle-farting around, I pretty much have the move down to use them.
Yes, these things seem to have the potential to be quite fast for a reload. At my skill level? Maybe not. But it will be fun to play with the Python and figure all this out.
As for why? Well…I have identified a shortcoming in my skill set. I am officially an old man and the younger folks expect me to know how to run revolvers. Who am I to disappoint the youngsters?
