Disposing of a MacBook Air
So what to do with an old company computer after it has lived out it usefulness, been wiped numerous times, and even Apple won’t take it in for scrap?
Simple. Get on the internet and look up the schematics for the 2013 MacBook Air motherboard then start putting 9mm rounds through the sold state hard drive, memory bank and finally the battery.
Guess what? The battery started smoking so we left it outside overnight to ensure there wasn’t a fire hazard.
Best part? The aluminum shell held everything together so no trash or detritus was produced on the range. I love it was a plan comes together.
Sincerely,
Marky
