Fire Pit Dirt Work

Fire Pit Dirt Work
Massey Ferguson 4707 compacting the fill dirt.

Rushing to get some projects on the range cleaned up before the spring rains come, the tractor goes in for service, and in time to plant grass seed.

Two projects:

One, we had this big pile of dirt sitting next to the fire pit all winter. I have been waiting for things to dry so I can get rid of it. Now the fire pit area will be open, look nice and most importantly, not have any mud around it!

Two, it was a lot of dirt. A LOT. Mostly topsoil from last year’s parking lot and driveway work. So the first priority was to fill in a low spot on the rifle range. A VERY dangerous low spot. So dangerous it could easily flip the tractor while cutting the grass.

So that was filled in and packed down.

All the remaining dirt went up front; added to the existing privacy berm.

Up next, a 70lb bag of grass seed.

Sincerely,

Marky
