HK SL8-6 – Coyote Gun?
Been mulling this one over for a while and they finally fell to a price that justified the pickup. Using a HK SL8-6 as a coyote gun at the John1911 range.
Think about it:
- 20” chrome lined barrel.
- Heavy barrel.
- Supposedly accurate.
- Lots of rail space.
- Decent trigger.
- 10 round mag (plenty for coyotes)
- Semi-auto for quick followup shots.
- Adjustable cheekpiece & LOP built into the gun.
- And finally…an excuse to buy one.
The only thing I can kick this gun on right now is the barrel isn’t threaded for a suppressor. Looking into ways to remedy that.
Anybody have any experience with these? Any feedback or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
