Just that. First shots. Getting a feel for the gun, the sights and the trigger. It’s a Kimber. For good or ill.
But for good or ill, it’s still a 1911. An all steel 1911. Chambered in 9mm. Always a good time.
Long term? I doubt the this Kimber, or any Kimber, will meet your expectations. But any 9mm 1911 will leave a very good first impression, and the Rapide is no exception.
Sincerely,
Marky
