Why a Stevens No 35 Target
So…why would be purchase an old-timey, single shot, 22 rimfire, target pistol? Two reasons primarily:
- We don’t have anything like it in the reference collection.
- And more importantly, it fits a modern hand. Or almost does. Which translates into we can actually shoot it to some degree of performance.
It all really boils down to the second reason. There are a lot of guns out there we don’t have examples of. But too many of those guns are functionally un-shootable in their original configuration.
This gun fits my hand. That makes it’s shootable. So we bought it.
Sincerely,
Marky
