Wilson Combat announced over the winter that they were shutting down the single stack eXperior guns. Which is a damn shame since in my learned opinion, they are BY FAR the best single stack, 9mm 1911s ever made.
I will get into a deeper dive on this in another post to explain why.
Since they were shutting the line down, I reached out to my contact at Wilson and worked out the bookend for my existing eXperior. This one is
- 5”
- 9mm.
- Railed frame.
- Cut for a red dot.
- Threaded for a suppressor.
- 2-tone.
Why the 2-tone you ask? Easy. I’m 53 years old and gun people my age know 2-tone is the best tone. You’re welcome.
So stay tuned. More to come on this eXperior. It’s been a long time coming.
Sincerely,
Marky
