This image is one I took a few years ago while passing through the Cody Firearms museum during a hunting trip. I knew I had it, just didn’t quite remember where.
My motivation to digging it out today?
I was recently asked by a young man if he should buy a first generation Glock from his local dealer? His principle concern? That the pistol would be a, “shot out” train wreck that spends more time in repair than on the range.
My response?
“No worries, Kid. Here’s the pic I told you about. You play your cards right and that Glock will survive to be handed down to your grandchildren. Buy with confidence”
