What is CAGPT?
Delta Airlines uses this moniker on checked luggage that contains firearms. I can only assume they also use it for items of flagged value: i.e. Checking The Hope Diamond or the Mona Lisa in your luggage.
What does it mean on a practical level? It means TSA goes through your bag. And it does not come out on the carousel with regular luggage. You will need to pick it up at the luggage office after showing your ID, which needs to match the tags on the bag.
