This photo was taken in August of 2015. As I type it is January of 2016. I had been carrying this VP9 since the winter. Compared to now, it almost looks brand new. In the harsh light, a lot of the wear is masked. But even then, the beginnings of significant wear is evident on the slide.
So I figured it would be fun to document the progression. This is about as new of a photo as I can find. I will update every few months.
And if any of you have any well worn CCW guns, feel free to post them in the comments below. I think it would be of interest to our less experienced readers. Gun forums and collector sites skew what realistic wear looks like.
