On this episode of the Second Hand Showcase, we find a gun that I didn’t expect to see in a used case for a very long time: The compact version of the popular HK striker pistol: VP9 SK.
I speak English, so all I can say about the SK designation is that it means sub-compact / pocket-rocket in German. If you know specifically what SK stands for, please feel free to leave it in the comments below.
Now for the specifics:
- Maker: HK GMBH
- Model: VP9 SK
- Caliber: 9×19 / 9mm Luger
- Condition: Used but like new.
- Box and Papers: Yes.
- Grip inserts included: Yes. Complete.
- Magazines: 10 round factory x 2.
- Magazine Release: Ambi-Paddle.
- Slide-Stop: Ambi.
- Sights: 3-Dot, Novak style, Photo-luminescent.
- Lanyard Loop: Yes.
- Rail: Yes. 1913 Style.
Our regulars know we are big fans of the VP9 series of the guns. And while I personally don’t choose to carry pocket-rocket sized weapons, they have their place and commercial appeal. So a VP owner would be right at home with a smaller VP SK model for those special occasions where one doesn’t feel like carrying a full sized service pistol.
