We had someone ask us what is the best model of 1911 for under $1000?
Frankly, I wouldn’t know. That’s hard to pull off. I have heard some decent things about the Springfield line. In particular they make a good base gun to grow into.
Also…it is neat that one can now get a new manufacture GI 1911 copy. So maybe this is a viable option? Personally I am more into 9mm 1911’s these days so I would hold out for that caliber. Which of course would only come from a re-pop anyway.
